Support Independent Storytelling
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings BINGO, NOT DEAD YET one step closer to the screen. Your support helps us pay our cast, provide meals for our hardworking crew, secure the resources we need to produce the series, and tell a story that celebrates a generation whose voices are too often overlooked. By donating, you're not just funding a production. You're helping create meaningful, independent storytelling that couldn't exist without the support of people who believe in it.
I spent seven years working in a retirement home. During that time, I met people whose stories, humor, resilience, and personalities changed the way I saw aging. They taught me more about life than I ever expected, and many of the characters in this show we are creating are inspired by the residents I had the privilege of knowing. For so long, films have treated growing older as something to fear, mourn, or simply ignore. We rarely see stories that celebrate the joy, absurdity, friendships, and freedom that can exist during the golden years. Bingo is my attempt to change that. At its heart, this is a comedy with an experimental spirit. It embraces the chaos, nostalgia, and imagination that can coexist with aging, while reminding us that getting older isn't the end of living, it's simply another chapter with its own adventures.
I hope audiences leave laughing, reflecting, and seeing aging with a little more curiosity and a lot more compassion. Growing old isn't sad. It's beautiful.
-CATBaby Boomers make up approximately 20% of the U.S. population, yet their stories are rarely explored beyond stereotypes. Too often, aging is portrayed as the end of life's adventure, when in reality it can be filled with new friendships, second chances, and just as much unpredictability as any other stage of life. BINGO, NOT DEAD YET follows Mac and James, two former college best friends who unexpectedly reunite years after a falling out when they both end up at the same retirement community. What begins as an awkward reunion quickly becomes a journey filled with outrageous residents, unforgettable personalities, and plenty of chaos. At its core, the series is about friendship, forgiveness, and the idea that it is never too late to reconnect with the person you once were or the people you left behind.
